One of the Seven Wonders of the World! Located at the boarder of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguai, the falls are an unique spectacle that attracts tourists from all over the world. The Iguaçu Falls are made of over 275 different waterways that upon joining, crash 80 meters into the chasm below. On the Brazilian side, the falls are part of a 425.000 acre National Park in which the Hotel Tropical das Cataratas is located. The Itaipu Dam nearby is the largest electric plant in the world. Birds, butterflies, exotic animals, orchids and other types of flowers surround the majestic waterfalls that are formed by 275 falls.

The Itaipu Hydroelectric
Power PlantThe tour includes a film about the construction and a bus ride around the dam where some view points were organized to allow the visitor a better view. The Itaipu Hydroelectric Dam, the largest in operation in the world, is a bi-national enterprise developed by Brazil and Paraguay on the Paraná River. The installed power output capacity of the dam is 12 million and 600 thousand kilowatts, with 18 generating turbines of 700 thousand kilowatts each. The dam is responsible for supplying 90% of the energy consumed in Paraguay and 25% of all the demand in the Brazilian market.
Iguassu Falls
National Iguazu Park , where the Brazilian Falls are located. The park is 24 km from Foz do Iguaçu and where you will find the most beautiful falls in an 1 km tour to the incredible panoramic view. The best time to visit the falls is in the morning, when you will find the best light for photographs. The Falls in the Argentinean Park are well explored in a day, offering closer views of the falls and forest with its wildlife full of birds, exotic animals and butterflies.
Macuco Boat Safari
The big adventure begins at the Macuco Safari entrance gates, located at kilometer 25 of the Cataratas Highway inside the Iguassu National Park, with embarkation in open jeep-towed wagons that permit an unobstructed view of the scenery along the trail. During the stretch of three kilometers through the jungle, multi-lingual guides point out examples of the flora and fauna of the Park. The hike - The second stage, a stretch of 600 meters (optional), is a hike on a trail that leads to a waterfall baptized "Macuco Falls". The last stop is the Macuco Safari docks on the Brazilian side of the Iguassu River. In the water, inflatable bi-motor boats, constructed to withstand the rigors of the excursion, are secure and efficient vessels. The boat travels up-river passing the canyon facing the rapids at a speed that permits the appreciation of the scenery. Rocks, animals and a lot of greenery completes the scenery until the base of the Falls is reached, next to the "great horseshoe" know as the "Devil's Throat".
Waterfall shower - Rainbows, blue sky, mist and water in profusion, punctuate the spectacle that has as its high-point the area of the Falls baptized "The Three Musketeers".
The tour takes two hours, and it departs every 15 minutes.

Aviary Park

An ecological Sanctuary with 6 hectares of native subtropical forest allowing tourists, ecologists and photographers the opportunity to enter the 8 meter high forest aviaries in their natural habitat without the restriction of nets or cages.The Bird Park has more than 900 birds of 150 species. The majority of them are Brazilian birds. A third of these species are endangered. All birds seen in the Park originate from zoos, breeders authorized by IBAMA or rehabilitation centres. The Bird Park does not accept birds of unknown origin. All animals are registered and an annual report is given to the Brazilian Zoological Society and IBAMA.

Ciudad del Este
Visit Ciudad del Este in Paraguay crossing the Ponte da Amizade (Friendship Bridge). A duty free place where millions of Brazilians and Argentineans go for shopping. At night visit the Casino Del Este.

Jesuitical Ruins
Go back in time by visiting the Jesuitical Ruins located in the Brazilian, Argentinean and Paraguayan territories. The Jesuitical missions tried to transformed the Guarani Indians into Christians. The Indians were taught about the Christianism, arts, carpentry, etc. The ruins symbolized the beginning of an era, where the Indians' culture was not respect and was altered by the missions. The peculiar baroque architecture of the ruins makes visitors understand a little about the cruel colonization of the Indians in the beginning of the Americas.

Ecomuseum and Natural History Museum
Many activities and exhibitions are found in the Ecomuseum like research, education, fauna and flora material, fairs, seminars, courses, etc. All the resources were created as an Integration Center for the local communities. The Natural History Museum in Paraguay develops a similar work. There are around 13 thousand biological samples and 40 thousand archeological pieces, what makes its visit very interesting.

THREE FRONTIERS MARKA
Beautiful place for sightseeing made of the frontiers among three countries (Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina) and also between the rivers Iguaçu and Paraná. Besides the wonderful scene, it is possible to have snack bars and buy souvenirs on the three extremes. Free access.
HELICOPTER RIDE
Leaving from the entrance of the National Park of Iguaçu with two options of ride pre-determined and other possibilities if requested. The ride is spectacular and goes over the Iguassu Falls, Itaipu, Foz do Iguaçu and the three Frontiers Mark.
The ride over the National Park and the falls lasts 10 minutes. The ride over the National Park, Falls Three Frontiers Mark and Foz do Iguaçu lasts 35 minutes.
